Israel Trip

Just got back last month from a trip to Israel and Jordan -- photos at http://www.angelfire.com/nt/theology/israel2007.html -- and am still processing the whole trip.  As much as I have studied the geography and history and culture of the land of Israel, there is no substitute for actually going there and seeing the sites first hand.  It is like the difference between watching a movie on a tiny screen versus a giant screen; you cannot help but to see more in the way of detail.

We are already planning a trip to Egypt for next spring.
